In the very room that we currently have our restaurant, a dairy shop operated between the years 1890 and 1907. Alfred Forsberg was a true merchant’s topic and early on realized the city’s demand for fresh milk. So, he arrange for the milk to be delivered from Över-Järva farm (North of the city) to his milk store on a daily basis. When Alf opened the Dairy Store in 1890 it was one of only seven in Stockholm. Alf lived his life in the old town until he died on March six, 1925 at the age of 68.
The street of Lilla Nygaten appears to have been quite the centre of diary products. In our Salle de Banquet there was a cheese and butter store until 1955. So its an honour for us to be able to pay a little tribute to ”our” Alfred Forsberg whom we share a common interest with.

A long time ago there was a restaurant owner, we know who spoke warmly of the ”first impression” and how important it is. We want our guests to get the first personal attention already out on the sidewalk at Little Nygatan 21. We therefore welcome Roland Pettersson to Frantzén Lindeberg. He is the first that our guests will meet during a visit and he is working as our doorman.
On 29 of October we are launching the new chambré separée at Frantzén Lindberg. It is our old bakery and membershipbar across the street from the restaurant that we have rebuilt. The chambré separée will have 18 sites with full kitchens and resources for meetings, dinners, tastings and more.
Frantzén/Lindeberg has been honored with “Best Award of Excellence ” in the Wine Spectators annual compilation of the world’s foremost restaurant winelists. This is the second of three possible levels where the last third level includes only 75 restaurants in the world.
